operates exclusively for the benefit of HCS and its students.

Participate in the Friends Gala and Auction
Get ready for our biggest part of the year — the Gala! This spectacular event features our exciting auction, which often includes fantastic goods (memorabilia), services (spa treatments), and experiences (vacations) donated by HCS parents and the Hoboken community. And the best part? Anyone can bid!
All funds raised at the Gala go directly to FoHCS to benefit the school. The Gala typically accounts for 35-50% of our annual fundraising goal. That’s why we need your help to make the 2025 Gala a huge success! We’re looking for volunteers to lead this unforgettable event.

Volunteer at FoHCS
Parents, your active involvement in FoHCS is one of the best ways to support our school community! We have volunteer opportunities suited to any level of commitment you can manage. Whether you’re donating your time or making a small financial contribution, every bit helps.
Volunteer to Be a Class Parent
Class parents help socialize updates and coordinate participation in events and fundraisers from other parents in their classes. They’re a critical communications channel through WhatsApp for FoHCS and the school.

Volunteer to Plan, Lead, or Help With Other Events
Throughout the school year, we have a lineup of exciting events for both kids and parents, including dances, scavenger hunts, bake sales, and social nights out for moms and dads. Not only are these events a blast — they’re crucial for raising funds for HCS.
But here’s the thing: We can’t do it without you! We need enthusiastic volunteers to help plan and coordinate these events. No matter how much time you can spare, your contribution is invaluable.
